Hello there LASing kapitbahays, Its been quite a hibernation since our yearly meet ups. The US economy maybe has kept us
a little prudent and wiser. But that didn't stop us from sending our best regards, reminisce our glorious past, our family togetherness and love for life. Though momentarily fragmented into a smaller groups in OC, San Diego,Long Beach, North to South LA, East to West LA, San Francisco, the Middle East Manila Singapore and many places, the LASing family website remained and dedicated
on the internet. Until the advent of My Space, the almighty Facebook and other social networking, LASing website still is a unique
home for those family who worked and lived and most of all remained with a special heart for Singapore.
As your web manager, sole subscriber of LAsing Dot Homestead Dot Com for the last 12 years, allow me to publish some of the pictures that recently happened in OC and those we happened to be with from 2000 to 2011- Other than that, the archives of memories we had from those years.
And here's the Good News. Next year, 2012, a Grand Camping is being talked about, just like our previous Lake Perris Grand Camping 2005 which was headed by Fabian and Sheila Urfano family. As you know, The Urfanos had moved to Shanghai and will be back in CA next year in time for this upcoming event. Our meeting was held at Chito and Winnie Cruz's home in Lake Forest, with Monet and Georgina Aquino, Romeo and Gracie Mangalus, Annie Lara, Mon and Lolit Madarang, Say and Yollie Melgazo, and friends not mentioned here gave their suggestions and inspirations. Its been a long time, man!
Though we got some different opinions, whether to remain in small groups, we look upon this reunion in lieu of our yearly sports events. We will therefore would like to plan for the same activities i.e by the beach with much more creative ideas like a concert
volleyballs and games.
Our beautiful children had grown up now , and they now long for more interaction not only in the internet.We nurtured in them the value of the family and wholesome friendship, and we do hope that what we started as parents of LASing will continue to grow with more mature and understanding of love and caring until today. We gave them good memories from the yearly activities, thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who supported thru the years. Rollie and Rose Dorado, as the standing chairpersons of this community will be helping us to warm us up to the details. Let us know your thoughts by signing in here.
